You can get a Vietnam visa online through our e-visa service from US$47 all-in, with your documents checked before submission. eVisaVietnam.com is a private visa service operated by TK VIET NAM., JSC, not the Vietnamese government. You can apply yourself at evisa.gov.vn for US$25 single entry, or apply for your e-visa with us. Compare entry options, prices, the application steps and urgent delivery below.
Before paying, check whether your passport qualifies for visa-free entry. If you need a visa, your route matters too: the e-visa supports air, land and sea entry, while visa on arrival requires a flight and an approval letter.
Your options:
| Option | Who uses it | Stay | Price (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa-free entry | Citizens of listed countries | Up to 45 days for many European and Asian passports | Free |
| E-visa | Every nationality | Up to 90 days, single or multiple entry | From $47 with us |
| Visa on arrival | Air travelers with an approval letter | Set by the letter | From $28 service fee, plus airport stamping fee |
On time or your money back: we refund 100%, government fee included, if your e-visa is refused or arrives after the delivery time shown at checkout. The exception is a refusal caused by false information in your application. The e-visa is the online option explained below.
What is the Vietnam e-visa?
The Vietnam e-visa, or Vietnam electronic visa, is issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department through evisa.gov.vn. It allows a stay of up to 90 days with single or multiple entry, and it arrives as a PDF that you print before traveling.
Vietnam opened the e-visa to citizens of all countries and territories in August 2023, as the national tourism board confirms on its visa requirements page (checked October 2026). The e-visa can cover tourism and short business visits. It is not a work permit.
A 90-day e-visa costs the same as a 30-day one, both on evisa.gov.vn and with us, so choose dates that cover your intended trip.
Single or multiple entry?
A single-entry e-visa lets you enter Vietnam once; leave, even for a weekend in Bangkok, and it is used up. A multiple-entry e-visa lets you come and go until the last valid day.
Choose multiple entry if your route leaves Vietnam and returns during the visa's validity.
Who needs a visa for Vietnam?
Most travelers need a visa for Vietnam, and for them the e-visa is the standard choice. Citizens of a list of European and Asian countries can enter visa-free for a limited stay, and travelers arriving by air can also use visa on arrival.
Do I need a visa for Vietnam? answers this country by country.
Visa-free entry
Visa-free entry lets citizens of listed countries stay a fixed number of days without a visa: up to 45 days for passports including the UK, Germany, France, Japan and South Korea.
Under Resolution 229/NQ-CP (2025), citizens of 12 additional European countries, including Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Switzerland, qualify for 45-day tourism stays from August 15, 2025, to August 14, 2028 (as of October 2026). ASEAN passports have separate terms.
Check our visa-free entry list before you book. If your trip runs longer than the exemption, apply for an e-visa before you fly.
E-visa
The e-visa suits eligible travelers who need a visa, including visitors staying longer than their visa-free allowance. Approval still depends on the application and entry conditions.
The e-visa is accepted at 79 border gates: 15 international airports, 26 land border gates and 38 seaports (as of October 2026). Choose your entry gate in the application form.
Visa on arrival
Visa on arrival works only for travelers who fly into Hanoi (Noi Bai), Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat), Da Nang or Cam Ranh. You need an approval letter before you board, then pay a $25 or $50 stamping fee at the airport counter.
It cannot be used at a land border. Confirm eligibility before booking this route. Our visa on arrival service arranges the letter.
Vietnam visa prices, all-in
Our Vietnam e-visa prices start at $47 single entry and $82 multiple entry for Standard processing, labeled 5 to 7 working days. The government fee is included. Urgent packages have specific order cut-offs and delivery times, rather than a fixed wait for every order.
Packages are priced per person. The exact delivery date and time depend on when you order and are shown before payment. Prices last updated: 2026-10-08.
| Processing speed | Single entry (USD) | Multiple entry (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard, 5 to 7 working days | $47 | $82 |
| 3 working days | $69 | $98 |
| 2 working days | $92 | $116 |
| 1 working day | $99 | $123 |
| Same day, 4 to 8 working hours | $118 | $150 |
| Super Urgent, 2.5 working hours | $169 | $212 |
| Emergency, 1.5 working hours | $260 | $285 |
| Weekend and public holidays | $250 | $280 |
If your e-visa is refused or arrives after the delivery time shown at checkout, we refund 100%, including the government fee, unless refusal resulted from false information.
Of the $47 standard price, $25 is the government fee and $22 is our service fee. On a multiple-entry e-visa the government fee is $50. There is no card surcharge. The full Vietnam visa fee table also covers children, group orders and visa on arrival costs.
Which speed should you pick?
Choose the package whose displayed delivery date leaves time before check-in. For imminent departures, compare urgent options. Saturdays, Sundays and Vietnamese public holidays do not count as working days. Allow a buffer for document corrections.
How to get your e-visa in 3 steps
You get your e-visa through us in three steps: fill in the form, pay and upload your documents, then receive the checked and approved PDF by email.
- Fill in the form: Enter your passport details, travel dates, entry gate and processing speed in the form at the top of this page.
- Pay and upload: Pay by card, then upload a color scan of your passport data page and a recent portrait photo. You can pay first and upload afterwards.
- Receive your e-visa: Our team checks the photo and scan, submits the application, and emails you the approved PDF. If it is refused or late against the time shown at checkout, you get a full refund.
To avoid preventable photo and scan errors, read the e-visa photo rules and our e-visa documents checklist before you start. For screenshots of each screen, see how to apply step by step.
What to have ready before you start
Have your passport, photo, trip details and card ready.
- Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from your entry date, with two blank pages. Scan the data page without glare and fully inside the frame.
- Portrait photo: Recent, front-facing, plain light background, no glasses, nothing covering the face.
- Trip details: Entry date, exit date, entry gate and the address of your first hotel.
- Payment card: A credit or debit card. The amount charged is the price in the table.
Urgent Vietnam visa options
For a flight tomorrow, compare your check-in deadline with the delivery date shown before payment. Same day, Super Urgent and Emergency are working-day packages. Weekend & Public Holidays is a separate option when available.
All times below are Vietnam time (GMT+7). The table lists order windows and results; lunch-time orders do not follow the shortest package label.
| Package | Order window (GMT+7) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Same day | Before 8:00 / 8:00 to before 14:15 | 14:00 / 18:00 the same working day |
| Super Urgent | Before 8:00; 8:00 to 9:30; 9:31 to 11:59 | 11:00; 2.5 hours later; 3.5 hours later, respectively |
| Super Urgent | 12:00 to 12:59 / 13:00 to 15:30 | 15:30 / 2.5 hours later |
| Emergency | Before 8:00; 8:00 to 10:29; 10:30 to 11:59 | 9:30; 1.5 hours later; 2.5 hours later, respectively |
| Emergency | 12:00 to 12:59 / 13:00 to 17:30 | 14:30 / 1.5 hours later |
| Weekend & Public Holidays | Before 15:20 / from 15:20 | 18:30 the same day / 18:30 the following day |
After the working-day cut-offs, Same day moves to 14:00, Super Urgent to 11:00 and Emergency to 9:30 on the next working day. For the 1-working-day package, order before 18:00 for 18:30 the next working day; orders from 18:00 move to two working days later.
The weekend package is offered from Friday 18:00 to before Sunday 16:00 (GMT+7), plus Vietnamese public holidays. A Friday-evening weekend order delivers Saturday at 18:30. Between Friday 17:31 and 17:59, Emergency has closed and the weekend window has not opened: working-day delivery moves to Monday, unless it is a holiday.
Example: 16:00 Sydney time on an October Tuesday is 12:00 in Vietnam during daylight saving time. Emergency then delivers at 14:30, Super Urgent at 15:30 and Same day at 18:00, all GMT+7. Check whether the $118 Same day option meets your flight deadline before paying $260 for Emergency.
Choose a delivery time before your airline's check-in deadline, with a buffer. If check-in is imminent, contact us before paying. Compare the urgent e-visa options for your travel date.
If you already applied on evisa.gov.vn and are still waiting, you do not need a new application: you can expedite a pending e-visa from $50 per person.

Vietnam visa requirements by nationality
Vietnam visa requirements differ by passport. Travelers from India, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland need a visa, while UK and Malaysian citizens can enter visa-free for short stays and need an e-visa for longer ones.
Use the guide for your travel passport (as of October 2026).
| Passport | Visa needed for a 2-week holiday? | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| India | Yes, e-visa | Indian citizens |
| United States | Yes, e-visa | US citizens |

| United Kingdom | No, up to 45 days visa-free | UK citizens |

Types of Vietnam e-visa
The Vietnamese visa issued electronically can support tourism and short business visits. Choose the correct purpose, entry type and travel dates. Employment may require separate permission; an e-visa alone does not authorize work.
- Tourist e-visa: Holidays and family visits. See the Vietnam tourist visa guide.
- Business e-visa: Meetings and short business trips. The Vietnam business visa guide explains when an e-visa is not enough.
- 90-day multiple entry: Long trips or a loop through Cambodia and Laos. See the 90-day multiple-entry e-visa page.
- Children and groups: Children traveling on their own passports need individual applications if they require a visa. See e-visas for children and groups.
After booking, you may need to know what happens if the e-visa is refused or late, how to handle an existing application, or how to correct a mistake.
Refund guarantee and support
We refund 100% of your payment, government fee included, if your e-visa is refused or arrives after the delivery time shown at checkout. The exception is a refusal caused by false information in the application.
No speed guarantees approval. Read the refund policy for the terms.
TK VIET NAM., JSC was founded in 2025 and is based at No. 16B, Lane 51, Thanh Liet, Hanoi, Vietnam. Our review page explains our commitments and how we collect feedback; we do not claim a review history we do not have.
What if I already applied on evisa.gov.vn?
If your own application is still processing, you do not have to start again. To speed up your pending application we need only your registration code, the email you used and your entry date. You pay only our service fee because you already paid the government fee.
What if my e-visa has a mistake?
A wrong name, date of birth or passport number can stop you at the border, so fix it before you fly. Our Update E-Visa service costs $65 standard or $85 urgent, and our guide to correct a wrong e-visa lists which mistakes can be changed.
When you are ready, choose the right service: a new e-visa, help with a pending application, or visa on arrival. Questions go to WhatsApp +84 879 932 635 (8:00 to 21:00, GMT+7) or [email protected].
Frequently Asked Questions
Is eVisaVietnam.com a government website?
No. eVisaVietnam.com is a private service operated by TK VIET NAM., JSC, a Vietnamese company based in Hanoi. The government's own site is evisa.gov.vn, where you can apply yourself for $25. Our service adds document review, support and a delivery time backed by a full refund.
How much does a Vietnam visa cost?
A Vietnam e-visa costs $25 (single entry) or $50 (multiple entry) if you apply yourself at evisa.gov.vn. Through us, the all-in price starts at $47 for single entry at standard speed and rises with the speed you choose, to $260 single entry or $285 multiple entry for the Emergency package. Check the delivery time shown before payment.
How long is a Vietnam e-visa valid?
A Vietnam e-visa is valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, from the first valid day you choose. A 90-day e-visa costs the same as a 30-day one, so pick dates that cover the whole trip.
How long does a Vietnam e-visa take?
A Vietnam e-visa takes 5 to 7 working days at our Standard speed. Faster packages have labels from 3 working days to as little as 1.5 working hours. Your exact delivery depends on the order window; review it before paying. Weekend and holiday service is separate.
Can I get a Vietnam visa in one day?
Yes, subject to the order window. Same day orders placed before 14:15 deliver by 18:00 on a working day (GMT+7). Emergency has lunch-time adjustments and closes after 17:30. During the weekend and holiday service window, orders before 15:20 deliver at 18:30 that day. Always compare delivery with check-in.
Can I enter Vietnam by land with an e-visa?
Yes. The e-visa is accepted at 79 border gates: 15 international airports, 26 land border gates and 38 seaports. Visa on arrival works only at four airports, so overland visitors who need a visa should arrange the appropriate document before travel.
What photo do I need for the e-visa?
You need a recent portrait photo on a plain light background with your full face visible and no glasses, plus a clear color scan of your passport data page. We check both before submission.
Do children need their own e-visa?
Children traveling on their own passports need their own e-visas when their nationality and stay require one. Visa-free children do not need an e-visa simply because they are minors. If a child is included in a parent's passport, contact us before ordering so we can check the applicable application route.
